Committees
Corporate Relations
The Corporate Relations Committee is the main point of contact for our corporate partners. Members organize the company field trips and the activities that companies will facilitate during sponsored meetings. If a company has an idea for an event, the Corporate Relations Committee makes it a reality.
Programs
The Program Committee runs the programs, making sure that we have achieved the bigger picture. This committee is in charge of writing and performing the skits in the Interactive Diversity Forum among many other contributions to how our events can be as effective as possible. The Programs Committee also develops new ideas for programs in the future.
Community Involvement
The Community Involvement Committee reaches out to the Austin community in order to promote diversity. The committee contacts different organizations and creates events through which different MDC members can make a difference.
Publicity
The Publicity Committee serves to inform the Business school about McCombs
Diversity Council and to promote their events. Duties of this committee include
making flyers to advertise our events, creating new ways to spread the news
about MDC, making the website aesthetically pleasing and accessible, and
designing MDC t-shirts. The committee meets every Thursday night from 8-9 pm.
