Master’s in Professional Accounting Council

Our Mission

The purpose of the Master’s in Professional Accounting Council (MPAC) is to

represent the academic, career, and social interests of the Master’s in

Professional Accounting (MPA) students at the University of Texas at Austin

(UT). All students in UT-Austin’s prestigious MPA program are automatically

members of MPAC.

Academic: MPAC represents the interests of the MPA

students at UT. We serve as an official representative body at

UT’s Senate of College Councils, which represents to the UT

administration the academic interests of UT students.

Career: MPAC provides a timely link between employers and

MPA students. We hold an annual Career Fair for traditional MPA

students during orientation.

Social: MPAC lays a foundation for professional peer

relationships and to strengthen the ties between MPA students.

We organize social events in which students can network

throughout the academic year.
