- Promoting professionalism is a key aspect of Phi Beta Chi. It is our goal to help ease the transition of women from students into active professionals. Guest speakers are invited to help give insight on issues concerning women and the workplace. Resume Workshops allow members to learn the art of creating a first class resume. Interview Workshops, conducted by human resource directors from top companies around Austin, give members an edge when going through the interview process. Etiquette Dinners help the women of Phi Beta Chi develop social skills valuable throughout their lives. Each member has the opportunity to be matched up with a mentor in the student's particular field of interest so that they may ask questions and increase knowledge about their career path. In addition, Phi Beta Chi is the main sponsor of the Undergraduate Summit for Women in Business each spring semester.
