The
undergraduate chapter of SEMA provides students at The University of Texas
at Austin with the opportunity to develop their interests in the business
aspects of the sports, entertainment, and media industries. The
undergraduate chapter of SEMA was founded at The University of Texas at
Austin in the fall of 2003. We are partnered with the graduate chapter of
SEMA in a drive to bring light to a few currently under-represented areas
of business at the Red McCombs School of Business. In addition to
professional and career-developing events, SEMA strives to encourage
social interaction and community service among its members. Membership is
open to all undergraduate students of all majors. |

The
greatest benefits of SEMA are the networking and building of new
relationships with students and leaders in the sports, entertainment, and
media industries as well as gaining access to resources and learning
opportunities to enhance your knowledge of careers in the three
industries. |
