Tech Connects is a unique service organization open to all majors.  We strive to make a difference in the community with hands-on projects.  Our goal is to empower youth through education

This semester we will be volunteering at Brentwood Elementary School, where we have designed a program called “Kids Create a Business.”  It involves helping kids create their own company through exciting activities, such as role-playing to get a bank loan, designing and printing “company t-shirts,” and writing and filming a company commercial.  The kids love it!

This program promotes technology education and advancement in our community.  It encourages kids to begin thinking critically, applying their creativity, and looking towards the future at an early age.   Tech Connects members also benefit by receiving hands-on experience in working with children on a technological level and giving back to the community.

In addition to volunteering, Tech Connects serves University students by arranging fun social activities. We also collaborate with the Management Information Systems Association for certain events.

Join us in making a difference in your community!
