The VIP Distinguished Speaker Series was founded in 1997 by the Undergraduate Business Council and then-Dean Robert May. Each year, we provide students with the opportunity to hear from numerous Fortune 100 CEO's. We invite executives from all fields of business and from all over the world to speak at the red McCombs School of Business. The purpose of providing insightful information from real-world experiences that can be applied to their future careers. Each speaker has a unique opportunity to positively impact the education of future business leaders by sharing their Views, Insights, and Perspectives (VIP). Speaking at a VIP Lecture is truly an enjoyable experience and has brought in crowds exceeding 1,000 students. Over the past nine year, this speaker series has grown to become one of the top programs at the University of Texas at Austin.

    The VIP Distinguished Speaker Series events are usually held Monday-Thursday at Programs Office and is fully endorsed by the Office of the Dean.
