MBA Study Room Reservations

Because of the collaborative nature of many of the classes, MBA candidates need space to work in groups. There is a row of meeting rooms on the 3rd floor near the west entrance (the sliding glass door next to the print shop) reserved for this purpose.

Click here to see a map of meeting rooms

Each of these meeting rooms has its own calendar on the Exchange server. You will be able to view the times that room is free and when it is already reserved. In order to successfully reserve the MBA study room, you MUST follow the following steps.

Create a meeting request.  In Outlook, open your Calendar, and begin creating a new meeting request. (File > New > Meeting Request).

Click on the TO field to reveal the Global Address List (GAL). You can then add the people you want to invite (find their name and click Required or Optional). You MUST select the MBA Study Room you wish to reserve and add it as a RESOURCE. If you fail to add it as a resource, you HAVE NOT reserved the room.

To ensure that the room is free, you can select the Scheduling tab at the top of the meeting screen. It will reveal the calendar for that resource (the meeting room you have chosen).

When you send the meeting request to the MBA Study Room you wish to use, your request goes to the MBA program office. Someone (yes, an actual human and NOT a computer) will process your request and let you know (via email) if you have successfully reserved that study room.
