Yes. To tour the campus, meet at the UT Tower (or the Main Building) on the ground floor at the Information Desk, Monday through Friday at 11:00am and 2:00pm, and Saturdays at 2:00pm (except on UT holidays). In December and May tours are only scheduled at 2:00pm. The tour is about 1 hour to 1 ½ hours. Reservations are not required. Wear comfortable shoes. To schedule a group tour for more than ten people, call 512-475-7441. For more information contact the Freshman Admissions Center at 512-475-7440 or check out their website.
To tour on-campus Housing, you have the option of touring two residence halls: Kinsolving (all women), or Jester (co-ed). Tours take place at 9:30am, 11:30am, 2:00pm, and 3:00pm, tours are 15 minutes (except on UT holidays). Reservations are not required, meet at the Information Desk at the appropriate time. Kinsolving is located at Whitis and Dean Keeton (26th Street), Jester is on Speedway and 21st Street. For more information, check out The Division of Housing and Food website.
To tour the McCombs School of
Business, call 512-471-0690 to schedule an information session. Sessions are held
Mondays
and Fridays at 1:00pm (except on UT
holidays). Information will be given about majors, advising, career services, and
much more. A tour will occur from 1:30pm-2:00pm. If you are interested in The Business Honors
Program, there will be an information session at 2:00pm.
How much does it cost to attend UT-Austin?
Tuition and fee information is available on-line from the Office of Student Accounting.
Includes tuition rates for undergraduates/graduates, residents/non-residents, and student fees by UT-Austin college/school.
Where is the McCombs School of Business?
The McCombs School of Business is located on Speedway and 21st Street, adjacent from Jester Residence Hall.
On-line maps are available for you to familiarize yourself with the campus. These include an overview map, an interactive map (requires Flash 5 Player), accessibility maps, parking maps, enlarged area maps, a buildings list, and images of campus.
What if I am an international student?
Contact the Graduate and International Admissions Center at (512) 475-7390; FAX: (512) 475-7395.
All international applications must be submitted to and decisions are made by GIAC.
What if I am a transfer student?
External transfer information is available through the Office of Admissions and the Undergraduate Programs Office.
Keep in mind that all external transfer application decisions are made by Admissions.
Note: If you've ever been admitted to and enrolled in another UT-Austin college/school as a degree seeking student, you must apply to transfer to the McCombs School of Business as an Internal Transfer applicant. More information is available on the Internal Transfer Process page.
