Finding an Internship

Since the purpose of the internship requirement is to apply what you have learned in your classes and explore the career field you have chosen, the internship should be related to your major field of study. There are many resources to assist you, though it is ultimately your responsibility to find an internship.

BBA Career Services is dedicated to assisting students in all phases of the internship search, from writing a resume and cover letter to suggesting tactics for a successful interview.

Suggestions for getting started:

Visit BBA Career Services in CBA 2.116. Information is available through a variety of resources including books, workshops, and company research materials.
Schedule an appointment with your BBA Career Advisor. To schedule an advising appointment, click here.
Attend Career Expo offered in the fall and spring semesters.
Search On Campus Recruiting, McCombs Job Board, and AccessUT for internships.
Use your networking skills to explore possible opportunities (i.e., talk to family, friends, professors, etc.)
