Tips to Prepare For Your First Year
|
1) Attend new student orientation during the summer. 2) Review the academic advising resources and majors provided by the McCombs School of Business. 3) Review the Student Life resources available at the McCombs School of Business. Begin thinking about organizations you may want to join and other opportunities that may enable you to develop leadership skills. 4) Consider joining
Business Transfer Student Association, the McCombs group created by
and for students who transfer to our program. 5) Make sure all of your
college transcripts
have been sent to the UT Office of Admissions, particularly if you have
enrolled in courses since initially applying for admission. 6) If you have not yet done so, send an official
High School transcript to the Office of Admissions. Although this was
not required for your admission file, it will be required to assess if
you are lacking any
high school unit requirements. Students without a transcript on
file, may be assessed a deficiency. 7) Begin preparing for the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT). This test should be taken in August if you don’t already have credit for MIS 310. 8) Familiarize yourself with the technology resources available to McCombs students. 9) Familiarize yourself with the services offered by the McCombs BBA Career Services |
