Become an Ambassador:

If you meet these qualifications and want to help present the McCombs School to our visiting VIPs, please submit your application using the form at the bottom of this page.  Applications are currently available.

Purpose
To maximize relationships between current students and visiting dignitaries.

The McCombs Ambassador Program will showcase a select group of students to Alumni, Donors, VIPs and the general public, while providing a prestigious leadership opportunity for students as well as support to the Undergraduate Programs and Development Offices.

Student Qualifications
Public Relationship and Communication Skills
Attend monthly meetings and summer training sessions
Desire to gain extensive knowledge of McCombs School and UT
Represent the McCombs School and the University of Texas in a positive manner at all times
Student cannot be overly involved with other University events and organizations
Agree with and sign alcohol policy once selected

Tenure
Students will serve a two-year tenure except if they apply to serve during their senior year or will be interning or studying abroad during the second year of tenure.

October 1st- Publicity begins (BBA Email & Org Leadership Meeting)
Mid-October- Application Process (Applications are available in CBA2.400)
Mid-November Selection Committee Reviews Application; Interview & Selection

Spring Selection Information (Specific Dates will be provided in Spring)
March 1st- Publicity begins (BBA Email & Org Leadership Meeting)
Mid-March through Mid-April Application Process (Applications are available in CBA2.400)
