This private loan fund offers student loans of up to $5,000.00 per academic year ($20,000 maximum total) for undergraduate and graduate students of Texas colleges and universities who have completed at least 24 credit hours. The fund is limited to United States citizens and requires a co-signer. Interest begins accruing when repayment begins, 4 months after graduation. Interest is 4% simple interest. Students interested in applying for a loan for the academic year (2004-2005) should directly contact Professor Robert Mettlen before the end of November.
