McCombs School of Business Scholarships :

Award criteria are set by the donor(s). Where academic achievement is noted as a selection factor, the applicant's UT Austin grade point average will be used. Financial need is determined through completion of the FAFSA form, which is processed by the federal government.

  1. Abell-Hanger Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Available to both undergraduate and graduate students; financial need and academic achievement.

  2. Norma Anderson Endowment
    Business student; female preference.

  3. Rae R. & Margaret S. Burton Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Preference given to students from Bexar County in the state of Texas and/or who are pursuing the Engineering Route to Business major. Minimum GPA of 3.0; full-time enrollment.

  4. 1984-85 CBA Students Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Undergraduate seeking BBA in CBA; academic excellence.

  5. 1985-86 CBA Students Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Undergraduate seeking BBA in CBA; academic excellence.

  6. 1986-87 CBA Students Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Full-time student, except in final year; financial need, satisfactory GPA, except freshman/transfer student.

  7. 1987-88 CBA Students Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Undergraduate seeking BBA in CBA; academic excellence.

  8. Century Club Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    CBA/MBA full-time student; GPA 3.0, future scholastic potential.

  9. ConocoPhillips Scholarship
    Undergraduate business student who is a U.S. citizen.

  10. Samuel Cook Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Freshman; Texas resident.

  11. Harry & Silky Crockett Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Business Honors student, sophomore, academic ability; financial need.

  12. Joseph Culver Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Undergraduate student; preference to students pursuing a major in human resources.

  13. Anna Cunningham Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Students/parents who worked full-time for UT or UT System.

  14. Earl Cunningham Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Student who worked or parents whom works or retired from UT. Strong academic background.

  15. Dow Chemical Endowed
    Child/grandchild of Dow employee; high SAT/ACT; 2.75 GPA in college; may be continued.

  16. Drummond Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Undergraduate & graduate students.

  17. Eicoff Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Marketing major/concentration with interest in emerging interactive technologies & direct marketing; financial need, academic achievement.

  18. Flawn Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Junior or senior who graduated from a high school in Austin or the surrounding area. Financial need is a secondary consideration.

  19. Rosa May Griffin Scholarship
    Sophomore or junior ranking at UT; graduated from a high school in Gregg County, Texas.

  20. Daryl Hays Memorial Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Full-time student; minimum 3.5 GPA demonstrated financial need; a minimum of 90 approved semester hrs. toward a degree in Accounting. Legal Texas resident for six years. May be continued provided student continues to meet the minimum GPA and financial need requirements.

  21. HEB Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Sophomore level or above; any UT major; first preference to students who wish to pursue a career in the retail food industry.

  22. HEB Grocery
    Sophomore level or above, any business major. First preference to students who wish to pursue a career in the retail food industry.

  23. Hensen Memorial Endowed
    Financial need, academic achievement; future potential. Transportation concentration preferred.

  24. Hewlett Endowed
    Senior business student “to complete the student year”.

  25. Holloway Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Upper division student; academic achievement; financial need.

  26. Hunley Endowed
    Undergraduate & MBA students. Maintain a 3.5 GPA.

  27. Kindle Endowed Scholarship
    Undergraduate CBA student; financial need.

  28. Konecci Endowed Scholarship
    Undergraduate CBA student; financial need.

  29. Kozmetsky Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Undergraduate CBA student with priority to those who are academically average, have learning disabilities, and are socially or economically handicapped; U.S. citizen; sophomore level or above. High scholastic achievement shall not be a determining factor. May be continued.

  30. Forrest C. Lattner Endowed
    Any business student; amount of award not to exceed student’s documented unmet financial need as set by the Office of Student Financial Services, through completion of the FAFSA form; 2.75 GPA if college record; may be continued.

    Enrolled in College of Business Administration

  32. Hugh Liedtke Endowed
    Average academic merit; promise of success in chosen field; demonstrated evidence of financial need.

  33. Loomis Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Financial need and merit.

  34. Sonya Machemehl Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Full-time CBA student.

  35. Roy M. Matney Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Preference given to students from Panhandle area in Texas. Pursuing the Engineering Route to Business major.

  36. Baker & Penny McAdams Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Accounting, International Business, or Finance major; academic achievement; financial need.

  37. Mexican-American Endowed Scholarship
    Junior or Senior. Full-time; financial need; academic standing; extra-curricular activities. Proposed recipient requires approval of Hispanic Business Student Association.

  38. Richard Warren Mithoff Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Full-time student; preference to physically disabled/handicapped student or culturally, socially, educationally disadvantaged.

  39. Nader Memorial Scholarship
    Upper division business student.

  40. National Student Business League Endowed
    Students who are active members of NSBL; academic merit (at least 2.7); extracurricular activities; financial need.

  41. Olm Endowed
    Upper division student; economically, physically, or socially disadvantaged; preference for students from non-urban areas of Texas.

  42. Douglas Parker Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    U.S. Citizen; resident; scholastic merit; financial need.

  43. Petroleum Industry Endowed Scholarship
    CBA or GSB full-time student majoring in Petroleum Industry/environment-related areas.

  44. Reed Rock Bit Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Undergraduate marketing major; academic excellence.

  45. Reid Memorial/Endowed
    Full-time; upper-division; financial need; academic achievement. May be continued.

  46. Roberson Endowed
    Full-time undergraduate junior or senior, preferably majoring in Finance; must be from Brownsville or Cameron County, Texas; financial need; academic achievement.

  47. Rose/Silverthorne Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Single student; good character and academic standing; have been active in high school; financial need.

  48. Sandahl Endowed
    Either graduate or undergraduate student in business school; physically disabled; Texas resident; financial need; registered for minimum of 6 hours. May be continued—previous recipient shall receive preference next year.

  49. Slaughter Endowed Memorial
    Undergraduate business student with financial need.

  50. Strum Centennial Scholarship
    Upper-division business student; academic merit; financial need.

  51. Jack G. Taylor Memorial Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Outstanding achievement, academic merit.

  52. A.T. (Ted) Broeke Memorial Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Undergraduate student; satisfactory academic record; financial need; preference will be given to married student.

  53. Texaco Scholarship
    Sophomore/ Junior in 98-99; Finance or Marketing major, 3.0 GPA; at least one female; eligible for full employment in the U.S.

  54. Ralph/Pat Thomas Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Undergraduate and graduate student.

  55. Jere W. Thompson Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Full-time student; sophomore or above. May be renewed.

  56. TRW Scholarship
    Student from South Texas area.

  57. Annie W. Walker Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Full-time business student with a GPA of at least 3.6; must have completed a minimum of 45 hours at UT-Austin; may not already hold a business degree; may not graduate before May of the academic year of scholarship; leadership potential; extracurricular activities; financial need; preference given to a member of Phi Gamma Delta

  58. White Endowed
    Upper-division undergraduate enrolled full-time; Texas resident; financial need; academic achievement; future potential. May be continued.

  59. Winkel Endowed Presidential Scholarship
    Applicant must be full-time undergraduate student; may be a freshman; must maintain at least 12 semester hours at UT during the semester nominated for the scholarship and during the two semesters the student holds the scholarship; applicant must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5. Students from Llano High School, Texas, shall receive sole consideration; independent scholastic activities, extracurricular activities, and leadership. Financial need must be a factor in evaluating otherwise equal qualifications. May be continued when the student maintains the above-described criteria.
