Welcome to myMcCombsbeta

This year McCombs undergraduate students will help us test a new approach to serving your needs. While we work towards building a brand new McCombs website, we have split the undergraduate site into two parts, one for current students and one for prospective students. All pages of the current student site feature the myMcCombs toolbar, which will allow you to jump directly to the myBBA directory.

Who Can Apply?

Only continuing undergraduate business students are eligible to apply. You are a continuing student if you are enrolled in the McCombs School of Business during the 2008-2009 academic year and will be enrolled as an undergraduate in the McCombs School of Business in the 2009-2010 academic year. You may apply if you were previously a business student and are currently sitting out of school, but will be readmitted to the McCombs School of Business by the fall of 2009.

Ineligible Students: If you will be a 5th year student in the BBA/MPA integrated approach enrolled in the Graduate School of Business in 2009-2010, you are not eligible to apply for undergraduate awards, but may apply for scholarships through the Graduate School and the Accounting Department.  If you are currently enrolled in another college and plan to apply to transfer to the McCombs School of Business for fall 2009, you are not eligible to apply for McCombs Scholarships.

The Importance of Establishing Financial Need

Some awards require that recipients show documented financial need. If you wish to be considered for such awards, you must also file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with the appropriate federal processing office. In order to receive priority consideration, please complete this application before March 31. Forms are available in the UT Office of Student Financial Services.

Note to International Students: Although you are not eligible by federal law to file the FAFSA, you must provide documentation of financial status similar to that required for the FAFSA, if you wish to be considered for need-based McCombs awards. Such documentation must include official income documentation (tax return) from your family or sponsor in your home country.
