Virtual Worlds Conference: Guidelines Authors should revise their papers based on round 1 feedback and submit their revisions to Manuscript Central no later than March 22nd. The authors do not need to complete a response to reviewer document for this round, but should be prepared to discuss in detail how the reviewers' concerns have been addressed. The authors should be prepared to make one presentation to all conference participants of about 20 minutes on April 2, where you highlight the key research questions, what your paper's contribution is, what the major reviewer concerns were, and how you have addressed them as well as if you have any particular areas in which you would like help for moving forward. The presentations will then be followed by breakout sessions for more in-depth feedback for approximately 60min/per paper. We will provide conference feedback to the authors regarding additional revisions around the end of April. Please note that we may reject additional papers at this point. Conference participants will be expected to pay for all costs related to travel, lodging, and meals at the conference. We are trying to cover the costs of the facilities, but there is a possibility we may also have to charge a small conference fee. A conference website will be posted shortly for reservations and more information. If you are planning on attending this conference, please let us know by March 10th. Guidelines for Associate Editors The Associate Editor's role is to view the overview presentation and attend the break out sessions for the papers. The AE's and reviewers actively engage in giving the authors feedback about the direction of their revisions. Having the AEs present would definitely be helpful and would provide the authors with the opportunity to discuss issues face to face. Special guests are invited to attent all the MISQ Special Issue presentations and actively engage in providing feedback to the authors/presenters in order to help improve the quality of the papers/presentations. In order to be a special guest, please contact Sirkka Jarvenpaa.
