The Summer High School Program Experience

Just like most college freshmen, your summer program will begin by checking into an on-campus dorm room that you'll call home for the duration of the program.Students ready to stay at the dorms.

No visit to McCombs is complete without a tour of the beautiful UT campus and the Darrell K. Royal Stadium where the Texas Longhorns take the field.A group of students visiting the University of Texas football stadium

Over the next few days you will take classes with McCombs faculty. They will introduce you to different areas of business, and to what college is like and what’s expected of you.

Each day will be full of opportunities to ask questions, get involved, and contribute to class discussions. You’ll work with your team on a real-world problem and devise a solution.

McCombs summer programs aim to give you a taste of what college is like, both inside of class and out. We'll make sure you have plenty of time to hang out and have fun with the other students.

After your last classes, you'll put on your professional business suit and get ready to pitch your team’s solution to the judges.

You’ll leave your summer program with a whole new network that includes new friends and the McCombs staff and faculty. You'll also leave with a new knowledge of what college is like and with a support team ready to help you on your path to the McCombs School of Business.
