Dr. Katie Pritchett, Ph.D. is Lecturer in the Management Department. She currently teaches classes on Entrepreneurship and Organizational Behavior. Dr. Pritchett specializes in teaching through experiential learning to give students access to real-world opportunities to sharpen their personal efficacy and professional abilities. She has prior experience in Washington D.C. working for the U.S. Department of Education in policy implementation and for a private Fortune 500 company working on marketing research to support the cybersecurity initiative for the U.S. Department of Education. Her passion lies at the intersection of business and education and finding innovative solutions to issues of access, equity, and persistence of under-represented student groups.

disABILITY Advocate Foundation Training

The Foundation training is designed to facilitate open conversation and provide an engaging learning environment through interactive activities and discussion. Participants will learn specific strategies to make campus more accessible and inclusive for people with disabilities within their role at UT. Each participant will receive a disABILITY Advocate placard that indicates completion of the program and willingness to be an advocate on campus.

We will be offering Ally Toolkit Training in CBA and RRH buildings in September & October 2019. The trainers will be from the Gender and Sexuality Center and. Details below. There are two different groups (September and October) with alternating days on M/W and T/TH. You must attend both parts to become a certified ally/advocate.
