Networking Reception and Career Fair
The McCombs MBA Career Connections Networking Reception provides employers and the McCombs MBA students a great opportunity to meet and get to know each other in an informal setting over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
Hors d’oeuvres and Refreshments
6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The MBA Career Connections Fair kicks off the McCombs fall recruiting season, and it's a great way for companies to connect with a large number of McCombs MBA students. This is a traditional career fair where students, in formal business attire, can meet employers at convention-style booths.

Internet access will be available for every employer booth at the Career Fair. This information will be available at check-in or at either of the information tables.

Registration and Payment
Registration is now open for the 2013 McCombs MBA Career Connections.
- The $650 registration fee includes up to four representatives for both the networking reception and career fair.
- The cost is $150 for each additional representative.
- If you're a non-profit organization or a government organization, your rate will be 50% off the attached invoice price.
- The standard fee includes one 8’ x 10’ booth with one electrical outlet, one wireless access, a skirted table, two chairs, breakfast, lunch and parking validation. All booth items must fit in this allotted space.

Accessing Your Registration Information
To review or update your registration information you must login using the original login and password that was used to register your company. Once you have logged in, follow the steps noted below.
- Login to Symplicity.
- Select the Events tab.
- Select Career Fairs.
- Click the Review - Pending or Review - Confirmed button next to MBA Career Connections 2013.
Registration and Payment Deadlines
- September 13: Deadline to receive a full refund for career fair cancellation
- September 19: Registration deadline and last day to make edits to your company profile for inclusion in career fair handouts
- September 26: Shipping materials deadline
- September 26: Career fair payment due in full
All cancellations made after Friday, September 13 will be billed in full. Registration ends on September 19.

DKR Texas Memorial Stadium
: North End Zone, Red McCombs Red Zone - 8th Floor, 403 East 23rd St., Austin, TX 78712
There is a north entrance into DKR on 23rd St (Gates 14 & 16). Employer check-in will be on the first floor. Parking will be available in the San Jacinto Garage for the Career Fair. If you have any material to drop off before parking, there will be a designated area at Gates 14 & 16. Volunteers will be on hand to assist in getting your materials to your booth. Ask your taxi driver to use the DKR Stadium North End Zone, Gate 14/16 Entrance address: 403 East 23rd St.to drop off & pick up. This entrance is located between San Jacinto and Robert Dedman Dr. For additional information on, please refer to the Employer Information Packet.
Shipping Packages to the DKR Stadium for the Career Fair
To use this service, you MUST use the physical address below, as well as the EVENT NAME listed below. The arrival date must be between September 23 and September 26, 2013. We are happy to receive, store and deliver them to your booth at the fair for no charge. Items received after September 26, 2013 are not guaranteed to be available at the event.
