Campus to Community

The Health Care Innovation Initiative sponsors 15 community projects each semester, pairing students with local and regional health care providers to work on real-world issues. Providers include Dell Medical School, Dell-Seton Medical Center, and clinics around the state. Representative projects:

 

  • Business analysis and market validation for an-home STI testing kits
  • Clinic evaluation and patient surveys
  • Safe sleep practices and patient observation
  • Opioid disposal and optimal opioid stewardship
  • Length of stay study
  • Patient outreach for HIV clinic change
  • Stroke treatment and evaluation
