Campus to Community
The Health Care Innovation Initiative sponsors 15 community projects each semester, pairing students with local and regional health care providers to work on real-world issues. Providers include Dell Medical School, Dell-Seton Medical Center, and clinics around the state. Representative projects:
- Business analysis and market validation for an-home STI testing kits
- Clinic evaluation and patient surveys
- Safe sleep practices and patient observation
- Opioid disposal and optimal opioid stewardship
- Length of stay study
- Patient outreach for HIV clinic change
- Stroke treatment and evaluation
