The Real Estate Finance and Investment Center’s reputation for turning out superior real estate professionals begins with the leadership of our Council. Members of the Real Estate Finance and Investment Center Council are top practitioners in the regional and national real estate industry who specialize in diverse areas including finance, development, asset management, acquisitions and investments. From the initial twenty-five founding members to now well over 200, the Council is highly-regarded as one of the top real estate industry organizations in the country.

Members Only Real Estate Conference

Each fall and spring, the Center’s Council and special guests from the real estate industry gather at private industry conferences to discuss current market trends, future forecasting, state of the economy and capital markets.

Council members have opportunities to connect regularly with students to share real-world experiences through lectures, case studies, office visits, project tours, mentoring, career counseling and internship opportunities. These Center co-curricular events are designed to build upon the classroom experience and provide vast networking opportunities for students pursuing careers in real estate.

Member Levels

The Executive level is comprised of members that are top executives in their firms with approximately 25+ years in the industry. Advisory level Council members serve as a resource base for program direction and additional support on Center initiatives and have a wide range of years of professional experience, typically from about 10 to 25+ years. The Associate level Council is exclusive to recent graduates with developing careers in real estate who demonstrate leadership, integrity and potential for success.
