All of our activities are by invitation-only and are limited to members of our real estate student organizations.

The Center takes students on various trips each year to visit companies and significant development projects in various cities in Texas, across the US and beyond including Houston, Dallas and New York among others.

Industry Panels

A panel of professionals on stage
Throughout every semester, the Center hosts multiple events for students to learn from and network with the top executives in the industry. Real Estate career panels and other workshops with industry professionals expand students’ knowledge and understanding of the wide spectrum of opportunities available and what it takes to get there.

Business people talk at a social event
The Center coordinates small group mentoring sessions with industry professionals, such as breakfasts and lunches and larger alumni and recruiting events, to allow students to begin building their network while they’re still in school.

Case Competitions

Business students pose arm in arm
Our dedicated team supports our students getting involved in local and national case competitions annually. The Center provides the financial means for attendance and offers coordination, coaching and other support to ensure the team is fully prepared for the challenge.

Real Estate Societies

Business students take a tour

Undergraduate Real Estate Society (URES) and the Graduate Real Estate Society (GRES) are organizations for students interested in entering the commercial real estate profession. Members of these organizations have exclusive access to the Center mentor program, software training, industry panels, conferences and case studies. Industry treks to Austin, Dallas, Houston, and New York offer valuable networking opportunities with firms and the chance to visit development sites and noteworthy projects.
