Undergraduate Certificate and Minor

This transcript-recognized real estate program is available to full-time undergraduate students currently enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin, regardless of college or major. Application and admission to the program is required. Please note, that this program is only offered for current undergraduate students, and it is not a standalone program for people that have already graduated from an undergraduate program. In addition, the certificate does NOT include real estate licensure, that is a completely different certification offered by the State of Texas and not associated with our program.

The undergraduate real estate program, both certificate and minor, can be pursued alongside any undergraduate degree at UT Austin. Generous donors in the real estate industry raised $4M to fund this program, which focuses on interdisciplinary understanding of real estate’s broad scope, as well as proficiency in real estate finance. Launched in 2012, the program has realized significant popularity among students and tremendous success with placement at top firms across the country.
