In the current information-driven era, corporations and professionals face the continuous challenge of gathering intelligence and making effective decisions using massive volumes of ubiquitous data. The workshop on Social Media and Business Analytics will help establish a bridge between the industry and academia, in order to address the common challenges associated with analyzing and understanding data available from online platforms.
The workshop will include presentations and panels of executives and academics that have gained experiences and insights in this innovative field within a business community.
