Caryn Conley

Caryn Conley is an assistant professor of instruction in the Department of Information, Risk & Operations Management at The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. She teaches courses in problem solving and programming, and business systems development to graduate and undergraduate students. The recipient of teaching awards, Conley also mentors students on career and personal goals.

She launched the highly ranked Master of Science in Information Technology & Management program at Texas McCombs, a 10-month program that develops business leaders in emerging technologies. As program director, she oversees the admission process and works closely with industry leaders who make up the Advisory Council to continue to refine and develop the program.

Conley previously was program director of the MSITM program and assistant professor at Florida Atlantic University. She earned a Ph.D. in information systems and an M.Ph. in business administration, both from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and a BBA in business honors and management information systems from Texas McCombs. Conley has also earned the Association of College and University Educators' Credential in Effective College Instruction.
