Eunjoo (EJ) Han is a doctoral student in Marketing (Consumer Behavior track) at Mccombs School of Business, The University of Texas at Austin. She received a BBA (a minor in Economics) and a M.S. in Marketing from Yonsei University, South Korea. She also has a two year work experience as a business consultant at Accenture. Her research interests lie in goals and motivation. More specifically, she works on motivational effects of moods, competitive goal pursuit, and an individual's prosocial motivation to help out-group (vs. in-group) members. Her dissertation aims to contribute to the extant body of research by unraveling another cognitive mechanism through which moods can influence motivation in pursuit of a single goal and and multiple goals. Eunjoo has papers under review at peer reviewed journals and her work has been presented at the Association for Consumer Research conference (ACR), the Society for Consumer Psychology conference (SCP), and the Society for Personality and Social Psychology conference (SPSP).
