Suho Han

Suho Han

Ph.D. Student

Suho is a doctoral candidate in the Management Department with a concentration in Strategic Management. Suho's research interests lay broadly in examining the relationships among critical stakeholders who are vital to the performance outcomes of both new ventures and mature firms. One stream focuses on examining the processes related to how new ventures obtain external resources. His dissertation examines this topic through angel investor groups, exploring how they make investment decisions, their founding behaviors, and syndication processes through a multiple case study of eight US-based angel investor networks. Another project examines this topic from the perspective of the venture, focusing on the evolution of trust among stakeholders in a high technology venture over its life cycle. A second stream examines the outcome of abandoned acquisitions. Particularly, focusing on the influence of boards of director networks on explaining acquisition abandonment. Suho holds a Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of Washington and a Master of Arts in economics from Indiana University and has also served in the Korean military.
