Niket Jindal is a Ph.D. student in the Marketing department at the University of Texas at Austin. His research interests are in econometric modeling and empirical analysis of the impact of firm-level marketing decisions on firm performance. He is currently researching: 1) how marketing assets reduce a firm’s bankruptcy risk and 2) the impact of corporate strategy on advertising effectiveness. Niket’s dissertation research has been awarded the MSI Alden G. Clayton doctoral dissertation competition honorable mention and the ISBM business marketing doctoral award finalist.
Niket received his BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign, his MS in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Prior to joining the marketing Ph.D. program, he worked in the semiconductor industry in marketing, strategy, and R&D roles.
