David holds an MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy from The London School of Economics (LSE), a Law degree from St. Mary's University, and a Government degree from UT Austin. He is a business owner and attorney, having served in numerous leadership roles for multiple companies. David is the founder and owner of Quintanilla Law Firm, PLLC, an Austin area law firm specializing in wills and estate planning as well as business and real estate law. He was formerly VP of Legal and Finance for Vivicare Health Partners, a pediatric home health organization that helps to care for medically fragile kids. Prior to his work at Vivicare, David served as partner and CFO for Serranos Tex-Mex restaurants. He began his career working in a non-profit for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).

David has served on the Boards of Directors of Hospice Austin, The Council on At-Risk Youth (CARY), and Marathon Kids.

David and his wife, Laura, have two daughters, Kennedy and Atalie, and a son, David (Baby Dave).
