The McCombs MBA Career Connections Networking Reception provides employers and the McCombs MBA students a great opportunity to meet and get to know each other in an informal setting over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (5:30 p.m. Employer Check-In)

The McCombs MBA Career Connections Fair kicks off the McCombs fall recruiting season, and it's a great way for companies to connect with a large number of McCombs MBA students. This is a traditional career fair where students, in formal business attire, can meet employers at convention-style booths (internet access will be available).

Time:  10:00 a.m.– 2:00 p.m.  (9:00 a.m. employer check-in)

Registration Fees and Deadline:
Fees:

  • $750 per booth (up to 4 representatives)
  • $375 per booth (up to 4 representatives, Non Profit/Government rate)

Deadline:
September 8, 2016

Additional Fees:
Additional company representative - $150 per person

Registration fee includes:

  • Attendance at the McCombs MBA Networking Reception on Thursday, September 15, 2016.  Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served.
  • Registration booth at the McCombs MBA Career Fair on Friday, September 16, 2016 - 8’ x 10’ booth, 6 ft. skirted table, two chairs, company sign, parking permits, electricity, internet access, breakfast and lunch.

Payment Deadline:
September 16, 2016 - Payments received after September 16, 2016 will incur a $75 late fee.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations after September 1, 2016 will only receive a 50% refund.

Take a ticket when you enter the garage.  When you check in at the Reception and Career Fair, please present your ticket and you will receive a parking card.

You can find hotel accommodations in close proximity to the UT Campus in our Recruiter Packet, and other Austin Accommodations at our Visit Us page.

Shipping, Unloading & Returning Booth Materials

Shipping Materials:
DKR Stadium staff will receive, store & deliver packages to your booth at the fair for no charge.  Booth Materials will need to be mailed between September 12-15, 2016.  Packages received after September 15, 2016 are not guaranteed to be available the day of the fair.

Make sure your packages clearly indicate your company name, address and sender's contact information.   Shipping labels should list the following information:

Return Shipments
DKR Stadium staff will be on hand to assist you in shipping packages back to your office after the event using only FedEx.  You will be asked to follow the steps below:

  • We request that only pre-printed, pre-paid labels be used to return items. Items with hand-written labels will not be accepted for return shipment.

  • If you plan to use UPS you will need to arrange for a pre-paid pickup using the address above and notify Karen Machacek at karen.machacek@austin.utexas.edu regarding the details of your pickup & include your confirmation number.

  • Returns packages will be shipped out on September 19, 2016.
