The Executive MBA at Mexico City is a 22-month program delivered in English that consists of five consecutive semesters (fall, spring and summer). The program includes 42 credit hours of courses, two Austin Intensive experiences and a Global Study Trip. Courses are held on Fridays (4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.) and Saturdays (8:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.), usually every other weekend at Tecnológico de Monterrey - Campus Santa Fe in Mexico City. This allows students to work with their companies to create a schedule that minimizes disruption of normal working hours.
Each school year begins with a mandatory week-long Austin Intensive experience to introduce you to the courses you will take during that year and the skills you will need to master the materials. The session is held at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center on The University of Texas at Austin campus. In the first year of the MBA program, you will gain in-depth knowledge of fundamental business disciplines, the roles and responsibilities of executives, and the wealth creation process. In the second year, you will focus on the formulation and implementation of competitive strategies, honing your leadership and executive skills and growing your businesses. The program concludes with the global trip, which emphasizes emerging issues in global management.
The Executive MBA at Mexico City curriculum is structured in a cohort-based format in which you take all of your coursework at the same time and in the same sequence. Following a cohort system allows the program to enhance teamwork, promote peer interaction and simulate real-world work environments. The curriculum is designed to encourage students to learn as much from each other as from their coursework and professors.
With a focus on real-world examples and practical solutions to varied problems encountered by businesses, the program also gives special emphasis to the Mexican and Latin American business environments and provides participants the opportunity to network with other fast-track, high-potential executives. This program demonstrates the commitment of The University of Texas at Austin and Tecnológico de Monterrey-Campus Santa Fe to deliver the highest quality business education in a format that is fully accessible to mid-career executives. The Executive MBA at Mexico City gives you the tools and skills you need to excel and succeed in your business and profession to enhance your contribution to society
