The McCombs School is one of the top ranked business schools in the nation. Your investment ensures that we are one of the most prominent business schools in the world. Private funding is increasingly important as other sources of support continually decrease.
State funding previously provided 47 percent of the university's budget. Today that number is only 12 percent.
Dispelling the Myth: Is UT Rich?
Many people think that UT and the McCombs School are rich because we receive revenue from the state-owned Permanent University Fund (PUF). PUF receives revenue from oil and mineral interests in West Texas, but that money supports 18 institutions and six agencies in the Texas A&M and University of Texas Systems.
Maintaining a Competitive Edge
The McCombs School needs your support in order to compete for the world's top scholars and students. Recruitment and retention depend on competitive financial packages and state-of-the-art facilities.
Making a Difference
Giving to the McCombs School shows your dedication to higher education and our mission to educate leaders that create value for society.
