Austin Intensive

Your journey begins in the heart of the UT Austin campus at the AT&T Executive Education Conference Center with an Austin Intensive Seminar, an opportunity to meet your new classmates, rub elbows with the McCombs faculty, and launch your studies in the heart of the Texas MBA Program. The rest of your first fall semester in Mexico City will focus on building your foundational business knowledge. This comprises three courses, which include: Statistics and Decision Analysis, Financial Accounting, and Managerial Economics.

Your second semester in Mexico City upon the first, as you dive into the next phase of our core curriculum. This includes three new classes: Information Technology Management, Financial Management, and Operations Management.

Year Two - Fall

Congratulations! You’re more than halfway toward your Executive MBA at Mexico City program In your second fall semester, you’ll once again visit the campus for an Austin Intensive Seminar. Your course schedule begins to develop laser focus, including the following classes: Legal and Ethical Environment of Business, Managerial Accounting, and Marketing Management.

As you approach the finish line of your Executive MBA at Mexico City program, you’ll take advanced classes that prepare you to for the major career boost you’ll experience upon graduation: Global Management, Technology Strategy, and Investment Theory.

Study Tour

Study Tour

The emphasis of your final seminar, which is held at an international location, is on emerging issues in global management. Lectures and discussion on a variety of topics serve to synthesize the entire curriculum and provide closure to your time in the Texas Executive MBA at Mexico City Program. In past years students have traveled to countries such as Hungary and Austria on their International Study Tour.

The Executive MBA at Mexico City is a 22-month program delivered in English that consists of five consecutive semesters. The program includes 42 credit hours, two Austin Intensive experiences, and a Global Study Tour. You’ll spend alternating weekends at the Tecnólogico de Monterrey - Santa Fe campus (4:00pm-8:00pm Friday & 8:00 am-5:30pm Saturday), learning from some of the finest business minds in America. Your classes will be a combination of lecture, discussion, case study and project work.
