Financial Aid Information
Merit Based Tuition and Fee Waivers
The MSF program awards merit-based assistance to exceptional applicants. All applicants will be considered; no separate application is necessary.
Financial aid is available in the form of student loans. Applicants can apply for most loans through the university’s Office of Student Financial Services. To apply for federal and state assistance, students will need the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You will need to authorize The University of Texas at Austin to receive your FAFSA information by entering the following Title IV School Code: 003658.
We strongly recommend that you begin applying for financial aid as early as possible. You can check the status of your financial aid application at the Office of Student Financial Services webpage or through your status check page.
If you need assistance with your financial aid application, please contact our Accounts Manager.
TA/RA Opportunities and Outside Employment
MSF students are not typically eligible for university employment as teaching or research assistants. Due to the rigorous nature of the coursework, outside employment is not generally recommended.
