Tuition and Financial Aid

Tuition and Financial Aid: Tuition, fees, and materials for the Master of Science in Health Care Transformation is $45,000

  • Incredible Value

The MS Health Care Transformation program offers an incredible value for students pursuing their graduate degree. The $45,000 tuition does NOT cover: health insurance for F-1 and J-1 international students, International Office fee, optional fees such as parking and sporting event tickets, and travel expenses for in-person weeks.

FINANCIAL AID

Texas Master of Science Programs understands that graduate school is an investment in your future. To assist our students, all MS Programs admitted students can pursue the following financial assistance options.

SCHOLARSHIPS, LOANS, AND ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

  • FEDERAL LOANS

Domestic applicants and applicants who are permanent residents can apply for most loans through the university’s Office of Financial Services. To apply for federal and state assistance, students will need the FAFSA. You will need to authorize The University of Texas at Austin to receive your FAFSA information by entering the following Title IV School Code: 003658. We strongly recommend that you begin applying for financial aid as early as possible. You can check the status of your financial aid application at the Office of Student Financial Services webpage or through your status check page. If you need assistance with your financial aid application, email FinancialAid@mccombs.utexas.edu.
  • PRIVATE LOANS

If you choose to pursue a private loan, we recommend applying no sooner than a few months before you start the program. Most private loans are credit-based and the approval decision may expire. Check with your lender about the length of time your application will remain valid before you apply. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at FinancialAid@mccombs.utexas.edu.
  • INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Financial aid for international students, including loans and merit-based assistance, is very limited. International students who apply should be prepared to finance the entire period of proposed study from personal funds. Please note that in addition to program tuition and fees, international students are responsible for health insurance fees and the ISSS student support fees. Additional information about required fees, financial, and supporting documentation for international students is available through International Student and Scholar Services.
  • SCHOLARSHIPS

There are a limited number of merit-based tuition reductions available to MS Health Care Transformation students. All program applicants are automatically considered for merit-based financial assistance; no separate application is necessary. If you have any questions about this process, please contact us at valueinsitute@dellmed.utexas.edu. Outside scholarships can be found through scholarship search engines like Fastweb and Sallie Mae's Scholarship Search. Departmental fellowships and TA, AI, GRA, AA, or A(G) appointments are not available to MS Health Care Transformation students.
  • Financial Aid for Veterans

The Veteran Commission approved the MS Health Care Transformation one-year master's program for Post-9/11 GI Bill education benefits. The program builds off of the unique needs and experiences of our armed forces, veterans, and their families to equip professionals with skills and knowledge necessary to transform the way care is delivered.
