Undergraduate students from any major may apply to the Real Estate Program. In order for your application to be considered for acceptance, you must be a UT Austin degree-seeking student with upper-division standing, and have received credit for ACC 310F, and credit or registration for FIN 320F (for non-business majors), or FIN 357 (for business majors), prior to applying. Admission to the program is based on students’ overall academic record and their performance in any prerequisite course(s).
The 18 hours of real estate certificate classes usually require three long semesters to complete due to course availability and sequencing. Students may complete a maximum of nine hours of certificate coursework within one year of earning the undergraduate degree. All coursework, including prerequisites, must be completed in residence and taken on the letter-grade basis.
