Why Marketing Fellows?: Marketing Fellows is a unique experience that only McCombs can provide for any business school student interested in marketing post-MBA. The experiential opportunities the program provides through practicums and Marketing Labs, the access to industry speakers and the CCIMS Marketing Conference, and most importantly the interaction with the other Fellows who share a similar passion for marketing is a great way to either continue or transition into a marketing career.

What has been the most beneficial experience at McCombs?: All of it. McCombs is an incredible place because of the complete experience--fellow classmates, faculty, program staff, Longhorn football, coursework, Tex-Mex food, and of course the city of Austin. All of these factors make this one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

What has been the most beneficial class at McCombs?: The most beneficial class for me has been Finance. I came from a heavy sales and marketing career history, so it was refreshing to sit in class and learn new concepts that are applicable in everyday business conversations for any industry. Professor Clemens made it interesting and interactive and I walked out at the end of my first semester feeling confident that I can keep up with today's financial news.

What has been the most beneficial experience at McCombs?: I have really enjoyed participating in the overnight case challenges.  Giving a convincing presentation after getting no sleep the night before, agreeing on a strategy with four other team members in a tight timeline, and pulling together a professional slide deck in just a couple of hours are some of the challenges you have to overcome-- but these all really build your strength as a business student.

What has been the most beneficial class at McCombs?: Design Thinking for Business Innovation- learning the philosophies behind and approaches to human-centered design has given me a better perspective on what really constitutes consumer insights and how best to uncover them.

What has been the most beneficial class at McCombs and why?: Having a marketing background already, I would have to say the finance classes provide a whole lot of value, not only to measure the impact of your initiatives company-wide, but also to obtain a good grasp of how the business revolves around investments to win in the market.
