Entrepreneurship in Healthcare – From Innovation to Commercialization

It may be winter, but it's hot out there. But even in an innovative hotbed like Austin, generating the idea is only the first step – it's the strategic business plan that really determines whether or not a new technology finds success. Texas Executive Education provides some of the most highly specialized expertise in technology commercialization available, and is now expanding our online offerings into the realm of health care.

Starting in early 2016, Texas Executive Education will launch a brand new program focused on the intersection between healthcare and entrepreneurship. Business Innovation for Successful Entrepreneurship in Health Care focuses on shepherding innovative concepts into successful business plans, especially ones focused on the nuances of the healthcare industry. This program brings our MVP faculty together with successful biotechnology executives, serial entrepreneurs, and The University of Texas Medical Branch to deliver a comprehensive, cross-discipline curriculum.

A series of thirteen 1-hour webinars over the course of as many weeks will delve into topics such as assessing technology, building a business plan, financing biotechnology ventures, creative and innovative management, effective pitching strategies, developing a launch plan and more. Each webinar also is accompanied by approximately two hours of pre-work and exercises that can be completed at your own pace.
