Texas Executive Education hosts our new Professional Development Advisory Committee

On November 17th, Texas Executive Education hosted 12 members of our new Professional Development Advisory Committee here at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center.  This group, representing a wide range of industries and functional areas, has been formed to:

  • Provide a structured forum for discussion related to key leadership and professional development issues
  • Gather, assess, and disseminate data on trends in talent development and broader professional development practices
  • Foster collaboration and best practice sharing
  • Create awareness and access to McCombs and Texas Executive Education resources, and a feedback loop for future research and programming
  • Showcase McCombs and Texas Executive Education resources to member organizations
Advisory Committee

Committee members have been chosen from existing Texas Executive Education Custom Programs clients, Open Enrollment clients, and prospective clients.  In addition, the committee includes a number of professional development / continuing education experts chosen for their experience in leadership development among working professionals.  Line managers as well as HR / Organizational Development leaders are represented on the committee to ensure a holistic view of the challenges that businesses face in the marketplace today.

The Texas Executive Education Professional Development Advisory Committee will meet in-person a number of times during the year, but will also participate between meetings via online discussions, webinars, surveys, polls, and virtual assignments.  Topics will be chosen jointly by Texas Executive Education and committee members, and will be items of interest across a wide range of industries, functional areas, and organizational size.  Committee members will learn from one another, and Texas Executive Education will ultimately be able to deliver even more relevant, powerful programs to all our clients.  We are excited by this new initiative, and look forward to cascading the fruits of our labors across all of our programming over the months ahead.
