Jake Jo is a doctoral candidate in the Management department at the University of Texas at Austin, with a focus on organizational behavior. His primary research interests lie in the area of diversity and social networks. Specifically, he examines how individuals implicitly think about forming and managing their social networks. Particularly, he compares how individuals across different identity groups think about creating and maintaining their social networks, and how differences in these implicit theories ultimately yield unique types of networks and positions. Jake received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Organization and Management and Marketing from Emory University.
