Aydogen Alti

Aydogan Alti is an associate professor of finance at The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business.

Alti’s research interests lie in both theoretical models and empirical analysis of various issues in corporate finance, as well as quantitative models of investment management and behavioral finance. His research has won awards for investigating corporate investment and financial policies and quantitative investment management practices. His work has been featured in The Journal of Finance, The Review of Financial Studies, the Journal of Financial Intermediation, and the Journal of Financial Economics.

Alti earned a Ph.D. in financial economics from Carnegie Mellon University. He also holds a master’s in finance from Carnegie Mellon and a bachelor’s in business administration from Boğaziçi University.
