McCombs Alumni Rising Star Award

McCOMBS ALUMNI RISING STAR AWARD PROCESS OVERVIEW

Established in 2004, this award recognizes one BBA, one MBA, and one Specialty Masters graduate for being successful professionally and helping to strengthen the Texas McCombs Alumni Network. These graduates will be consummate business professionals as a result of their achievements, leadership, community involvement, and loyalty to the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.

Dean Lillian Mills will present the 2023 awards at the Fall 2023 Hall of Fame event in Austin. The McCombs School’s program advisory boards administer and determine the Rising Star Awards in consultation with the dean.

RISING STAR AWARD CRITERIA

• Successful career advancement
• Evidence of public recognition accorded by professional groups/corporations outside The University of Texas at Austin
• Civic activity and public service by a nominee on a local, regional, state, national, or international basis
• Current or former positions of business or community leadership
• Service to the McCombs School of Business and The University of Texas at Austin 

2023 RISING STAR AWARD HONOREES

Each year, the McCombs School of Business is pleased to present younger alumni with the Rising Star Award. Honorees are acknowledged at the annual Hall of Fame ceremony. We present this award to alumni who have been successful professionally, and have helped strengthen the McCombs Alumni Network. These are graduates who have presented themselves as consummate professionals and dedicated business people. Congratulations to the 2023 honorees!
