Dean Bredeson is a professor of instruction for the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. He teaches business law within the Department of Business, Government and Society.
Bredeson has written eight textbooks on business law and ethics. He has described teaching as “more fulfilling than I can express” and has won numerous teaching awards since joining the faculty in 1996, including the Board of Regents Outstanding Teacher Award. He has been elected to the Faculty Honor Roll 12 times and is a long-time member of the department’s teaching improvement task force.
Bredeson earned a J.D. at the University of Texas School of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Southern Academy of Legal Studies in Business.
