PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The “Tower Fellow for a Day” colloquium is specifically designed for those eager to participate in and contribute to the unique multigenerational learning environment of The University of Texas at Austin. Over the course of one day, attendees will experience all facets of the Tower Fellows Program, including discussions with scholarly experts, networking opportunities, and exclusive campus tours.

Tower Fellow for a Day Activities

  • Engage in a discussion on midlife curiosity with Dr. Art Markman, Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs
  • Participate in our Distinguished Speakers Series luncheon
  • Return to the classroom for an enriching academic experience
  • Explore “Live from New York: The Lorne Michaels Collection,” an exhibit on display at the Harry Ransom Center, with Curator of Film Jenny Romero
  • Gain insights on the Tower Fellows Program structure and application process from Program Director Megan Frisque
  • Hear from Tower Fellow alumni how the experience impacted their life journeys

  • Fee covers programming, lunch, and parking
  • The registration fee will be reduced from the program fee upon enrollment
