Who We Are
The University of Texas Energy Management Program (EMP) is an AAPL (American Association of Professional Landmen) accredited undergraduate program of study in Energy Management for students across all disciplines. The program combines traditional academic coursework with practical knowledge and experiences to provide insight into one of the world’s most vital and volatile industries.
The EMP leverages expertise across the McCombs, Jackson, Cockrell, LBJ and Law schools by offering course work in business, geoscience, petroleum operations, and law. In addition to interdisciplinary course work, students are given multiple experiential learning opportunities and a chance to network with industry professionals from domestic and global companies.
