Cockrell School of Engineering Joins the KBH Energy Center

 

We are pleased to announce that the Cockrell School of Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin has joined the Kay Bailey Hutchison Center. At a time of deepening urgency around energy security, this new partnership further strengthens the University’s commitment to be a preeminent center for studying and applying energy technology.

    We're building a broad platform to study the interdisciplinary issues associated with the needs of the energy industry and consumers. We resolve to convene leaders in the industry, academics, and government for discussion, study, and analysis of these issues.

    We support and enhance the educational mission of the McCombs School and the Law School. We strengthen the business and legal education of future leaders in the energy industry and promote innovative courses focused on the intersection of business, law, and policy in the energy sector.

    We've created and supported networks for collaboration among energy professionals, scholars, and government officials. We work to connect University of Texas students and alumni to such networks.
