The New York for McCombs Council elevates The University of Texas at Austin and the McCombs School’s efforts by expanding and enhancing engagement opportunities for 3,300 McCombs alumni in the New York metropolitan area.
JOIN THE NEW YORK FOR McCOMBS COUNCIL
By joining this group, you will help us achieve our goals:
Goal 1: Recruit Texas McCombs students to NY and attract prospective students from NY to Texas McCombs:
- Interview on campus
- Host a company trek
- Participate in the Texas McCombs Summer Boot Camp
- Host/Attend Texas MBA Meet-Up Reception for Admitted Students
Goal 2: Promote meaningful interaction among Texas McCombs and other UT alumni:
- Represent Council at UT and Texas McCombs events
- Attend July interns/alumni brunch
- Connect board to distinguished speakers
Goal 3: Support Texas McCombs and UT scholarships, faculty, and programs:
- Refer alumni/new Council members
- Establish an endowment for a program or initiative you’re passionate about at the school
- Give to current-use funds
Goal 4: Engage next generation of alumni leaders:
- Mentor current students or alumni that are 1 to 2 years out from graduation
- Host dinner for junior Council members and/or recent alumni
- Participate in Speaker Series on campus and connect with students
