Once you become a McCombs School of Business Ph.D. student, you are a researcher. McCombs fosters research collaborations between faculty and Ph.D. students starting immediately in your first year and continuing throughout your tenure in the doctoral program and your academic career.

Centers and Initiatives
At the McCombs School of Business, our strong academic departments are bolstered by 21 preeminent research centers and initiatives, giving you access to experts and the highest quality business research, theory and policy in areas such as e-commerce and healthcare to energy and business ethics.
McCombs School Behavioral Research Laboratory is designed to facilitate leading-edge research on issues that affect individual or organizational performance. The lab is staffed by a Coordinator, IT specialist and a team of undergraduate assistants

The Texas Federal Statistical Research Data Center also offers Texas McCombs researchers access to non-public federal datasets. Additionally, through our collaboration with industry partners, our Ph.D. students have unique access to company data.

The Business Librarian serves as liaison to McCombs, providing Ph.D. students with research assistance and instruction.
