SPONSORED STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS

  • Sustainability Investment Group

The Sustainability Investment Group (SIG) educates undergraduate students on sustainable investing practices and provides hands-on experience through fund management and company evaluation based on environmental, social, and governance--or ESG--investing factors in a variety of industries.
  • Social Entrepreneurship Learning Lab Fellowship

The Social Entrepreneurship Learning Lab (SELL) Fellowship is an 8-week interdisciplinary fellowship for undergraduate students who want to create meaningful social ventures for their community. SELL is an impact-first community, built and run entirely by students.

GRADUATE STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS

Net Impact

Net Impact is an international organization that “mobilizes next-generation leaders to use their skills and careers to make a positive impact on the world.” The McCombs chapter organizes networking and career events around social impact and sustainability.

CleanTech

CleanTech brings together interested MBA students and provides them with resources to learn, network, and succeed in future sustainability and renewable energy careers.

Board Fellows

The McCombs Board Fellows places select MBA students on local non-profit boards as non-voting members for one year. In return for this learning opportunity, the Board Fellows each complete an in-depth project for their non-profit.

Social Impact Internship Fund

MBA students created the Social Impact Internship Fund (SIIF) to provide financial support for peer students pursuing internships in the social impact space. MBA interns offer support by pledging a "day of pay" from their internship salaries to benefit SIIF fellows pursuing careers in fields such as sustainability, non-profit, and other nontraditional sectors. The Fund encourages MBA students to pursue social impact careers by lowering the financial burden of entering less lucrative internships in social impact.

Texas Enactus

Texas Enactus is a community of student, academic, and business leaders committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to transform lives and shape a better, more sustainable world.
