For Current Undergraduate Students
An undergraduate minor can be pursued alongside any undergraduate degree at UT Austin. This transcript-recognized real estate program requires application and admission. It is offered only for current undergraduate students and is not a standalone program for people that have already graduated. The minor does not include real estate licensure – that is a different certification not associated with our program, offered by the State of Texas.

Commercial real estate plays a huge role in our society, and I want to be knowledgeable about the sector. Pursuing an Architectural Engineering Major with a Minor in Real Estate gives me the opportunity to join my passion for architecture with the business side of commercial real estate. The Real Estate Center has offered opportunities to travel and meet with different CRE companies to expand my knowledge even more.
Application Details
Application deadlines are associated with course registration schedules. We collect applications up to and including the following dates. You will be notified shortly after that, before the registration opening, whether you are accepted.

Curriculum Requirements
The minor requires courses in accounting, finance, real estate finance, development, investment or law, and additional real estate focused electives.
