Curriculum Requirements
The minor requires courses in accounting, finance, real estate finance, development, investment or law, and additional real estate focused electives.

• Open to any current undergraduate student at UT Austin
• Admission is by application only
• Transcript-recognized minor upon completion
• Does not lead to real estate licensure (that is a separate certification through the State of Texas)
• Not available as a standalone program after graduation

John C. Goff Real Estate Investment Fund
UT undergraduate students have a unique opportunity to serve as analysts alongside MBA fund managers in a collaborative classroom setting. Together, they manage and invest real capital from the Center into both publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and privately held real estate assets—gaining hands-on experience in investment strategy, underwriting, and portfolio management.
