Juliette Nwagbara, M.S, RHIA, PMP is a Health IT advocate, Project Manager, and founder of RHIA Essential. She teaches Project Management, Process Redesign, and Quality Improvement in the HIHIT Program.

After graduating from UT Austin’s Fall 2015 HIHIT Program, she has worked in the Health IT space as a Project Coordinator, Project Manager, Implementation Specialist, Senior Implementation Specialist, and Marketing Associate. As an Implementation Specialist and Project Manager, she has traveled to different hospitals/clinics in the United States and saw the urgent need of more certified Health IT professionals with the integrity and industry knowledge to help protect health information the right way. Her company, RHIA Essential, is a test prep business that empowers Health IT students/professionals to take their RHIA Exam- a Health IT certification offered through AHIMA- and enter this industry with confidence. RHIA Essential currently serves Health IT professionals all over the United States.

Her personal mission is to help propel Health IT as an industry so it is publicized to future generations on the same level as Law, Medicine, and Engineering. She achieves this through her YouTube channel- RHIA Essential- where she talks about all things revolving around Health IT.

Nwagbara earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas, Professional Certificate in HIHIT from the University of Texas at Austin, and her Master of Science degree in Health Informatics Administration from the University of Maryland University College. She is a student mentor, member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and a philanthropist.  She earned her CAPM certification in 2016, her PMP certification in 2020, and RHIA certification in 2020.
